As a professor of public relations at California State University, Sacramento, and the PRSSA faculty advisor, I have had the distinct privilege of working with such a group of thoughtful, committed, hard-working, enthusiastic students. These young men and women have taken on the challenges of planning and executing Golden Opportunities: Media Relations & the PR Profession. This PRSSA regional conference is the end product of a yearlong endeavor to put PR theory into real-world application by taking an event from conception to completion. It has been such a joy to see my students work as a PR firm would to organize this conference in all its myriad details. I am extremely proud of their efforts to date. And would like to invite you to attend this terrific event on April 25, 2009. Again, job well done to the PRSSA Students at Sacramento State University.
